Some comments on ethics in educational research

RESUMEN 

     La ética es un tema ineludible en cualquier tipo de investigación y fundamental en la que nos atañe, cual es la investigación educativa. Los objetivos de este artículo son explorar el significado de plagio y cuestionar la manera de entender la ética como un trámite o formalismo a cumplir, para satisfacer un requisito para la aprobación de un proyecto. En función del segundo objetivo, se presentan unos comentarios relacionados con potenciales dilemas éticos según la naturaleza paradigmática de la investigación educativa. El mensaje es comprender que la ética y la metodología son actividades inseparables en el proceso investigativo.

ABSTRACT 

     Ethics is an unavoidable subject in any type of research and fundamental in which concerns us, which is educational research. The objectives of this article are to explore the meaning of plagiarism and question the way of understanding ethics as a formality or formality to fulfill, to satisfy a requirement for the approval of a project. Based on the second objective, some comments related to potential ethical dilemmas are presented according to the paradigmatic nature of educational research. The message is to understand that ethics and methodology are inseparable activities in the research process.
