RESUMEN 

     Este artículo tiene como propósito reflexionar sobre el pensamiento de J. R. Guillent Pérez, quien se desempeñara como profesor del Instituto Pedagógico de Caracas. Al tiempo de mostrar la vigencia de su pensamiento y la diversidad reflexiva del autor como pensador riguroso. De manera panorámica recorremos su trayectoria existencial desde su participación en el grupo Los Disidentes, referencia fundamental en la historia del arte venezolano de la segunda mitad del Siglo XX, pasando por su concepción de lo que es la Filosofía y la esencia de la realidad venezolana. Para concluir con su último artículo (1988) en el que Guillent se manifiesta como hombre de pensamiento sistemático a través del gran tema que apasionó todo su iter-introspectivo: el Ser.

ABSTRACT 

     The purpose of this article is to reflect on the J. R. Guillent Pérez thinking, who was a professor at the Pedagogical Institute of Caracas. At the same time of showing the validity of his thought and the author reflective diversity as a rigorous thinker. In a panoramic way we trace his existential trajectory from his participation in Los Disidentes group, a fundamental reference in the Venezuelan art history of the second half of the 20th Century through his conception of what is Philosophy and the Venezuelan reality essence. To conclude with his last article (1988) in which Guillent manifests as systematic thought man, the great theme that impassioned all its introspective way: the Being.

RÉSUMÉ 

     Le but de cet article est de réfléchir à la pensée de J. R. Guillent Pérez, professeur à l’Institut pédagogique de Caracas. Au moment de montrer la validité de sa pensée et la diversité réflexive de l'auteur en tant que penseur rigoureux. Sa trajectoire existentielle est retracée de manière panoramique depuis sa participation au groupe Los Disidentes, référence fondamentale dans l’histoire de l’art vénézuélien de la seconde moitié du XXe siècle, à travers sa conception de la philosophie et de l’essence de la réalité vénézuélienne. Pour conclure avec son dernier article (1988) dans lequel Guillent se manifeste en tant qu’homme de réflexion systématique à travers le grand thème qui passionnait tout son parcours introspectif: le Soi.
